This privacy policy explains how JVC Insulation LLC, 48 Union Street, Stamford, CT 06906, handles information in Bid Desk. Bid Desk is a private business application. JVC staff and JVC customers use it to bid, invoice, and take payments. Bid Desk connects to QuickBooks Online through Intuit.
QuickBooks information
When QuickBooks Online is connected, Bid Desk accesses the customers, invoices, payments, items, and accounts needed to sync. It uses that information to prepare bids, send invoices, record payments, and keep those records aligned with QuickBooks Online.
No sale and no advertising
JVC Insulation LLC does not sell this information. JVC Insulation LLC does not share it for advertising.
Service providers
The app runs on a hosting provider. Intuit provides the QuickBooks Online connection and processes payments that customers make through QuickBooks. Those providers receive information only to perform those services.
Security
Connections to Bid Desk are encrypted. QuickBooks OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. Access to Bid Desk is limited to authorized users.
Retention
Information is kept while it is needed to run Bid Desk, to finish bids, invoices, and payments, and to meet legal record duties. Disconnecting QuickBooks stops new access to that company. Copies already kept for a bid, an invoice, or a payment can remain so those records stay complete.
Disconnect QuickBooks
An authorized user can disconnect QuickBooks at any time in Bid Desk settings. After that, Bid Desk does not use the connection to read or update QuickBooks.
Your requests
You can ask what information Bid Desk holds about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to disconnect QuickBooks. Email info@macastrategistagency.com. We respond to reasonable requests.
Changes
JVC Insulation LLC may update this policy. When it does, this page shows a new effective date.
